The facility is registered at the CMS as T2_UA_KIPT, and it is one of the best CMS T2-centers, if the operation quality is considered. Following CMS requirements, a wide range of work was performed on upgrading the facility. In particular, the Rucio – a new CMS data exchange system – was configured, and transition to the CentOS7 version of the Linux operation system was fulfilled for all nodes of the facility. A new version of the DPM system was installed providing support for additional data transfer protocols and new authentication options. A new head node of the HTCondor-CE type (replacing the CREAM-CE) has been set up and put into operation, with the Torque/PBS system for batch job allocation being simultaneously replaced by the HTCondor one. For the T2_UA_KIPT center, the operation quality determined by the readiness for participation in the data processing was 99.4% for 11 months of the year, what is the best performance level among the CMS T2 sites. In 2020, more than 2.6 Petabytes of data has been transferred (only by means the PhEDEx system) for processing to the T2_UA_KIPT facility, what exceeds the T2_UA_KIPT storage capacity by factor of ~3. Usage of facility’s computing Grid-resources in 2020 exceeded 40 thousand kHEPspec06-hours, or 95% from utilization of all resources of the Ukrainian Grid (NGI_UA) by all virtual organizations. For computations within the CMS data physics analysis aimed at the search for SUSY-signals, the project authors utilized 12 CPU days and 20 wall-clock days of the WLCG infrastructure resources in 2020. To create an active cloud service, the OpenStack platform has been set up at the facility with its integration into the EGI Federated Cloud (FedCloud) infrastructure.
