The results of the work and their novelty: creation of protective equipment, which is a special personal protective equipment designed to protect police officers from bullets, fragments of hand grenades, melee weapons, stone hits and blows with sticks during public order tasks and determination possible ways to optimize its designs by using a modular approach. The main criteria for creating protective equipment during research and development work are: - requirements for the product based on its purpose; - tactical and technical characteristics; - features of conditions of use; - conditions of storage, operation and maintenance; - development of regulatory framework.
