The purpose of the work is to develop modern approaches to the integrated assessment of the health of the children population in order to improve the principles of dynamic monitoring of its formation with the use of information technologies. The negative tendency of the increase in the incidence of children of preschool age in the 42-year period, especially expressed in microdistricts near highways of the city, was established. The multivector orientation of age change of direct and indirect indicators of children's health was revealed. An automated method for identifying potentially hazardous components of the integral assessment of the health of children has been developed, the expediency of designing the indexes according to the author's technique has been proved, taking into account the direction of the effect of the initial indicators. The risk for the health of children is calculated, which is related to the influence of factors of a way of life and ecological conditions with setting of limits of their negative influence. Scientifically grounded approaches to dynamic monitoring of the state and determinants of health, aimed at improving the principles of medical and preventive maintenance of children's population. The results of the study will be used as a methodological basis for monitoring the level and formation of children's health in the public health system.
