The purpose of research is to create a single electrohic archive (local repository) of results of scientific research works, articles, dissertations, conference materials, monographs, patents and other research developments of IPM scientists, to provide their centralized accumulation, storage, dissemination and ensure a reliable access to scientific and educational IPM materials to the world academic community. Another purpose is to rise world rating of the Internet presence of the Institute. The structure of research on the search topic includes three sections: – The first section provides information on the basics of development of a local electronic repository of the Institute for Problems of Materials Science. – The second section provides information on the work that was done for IPM website. – The third section provides information about the local IPM network and a list of works that were performed to maintain it in working order. The results obtained: - The modern requirements to information, software and technical support of the local repository have been defined. - The information structure of the electronic repository of IPM has been determined. - IPM repository software and hardware have been selected. - The modern adaptive design has been developed for the following sections of the website: Sections, Departments and laboratories, Scientific researchers, Conferences. The content management system has been updated for these sections. - A website page for Postgraduate and doctoral studies has been developed. - A website of the Poroshkov Technical Committee for Standardization has been developed metallurgy TK-54 (adaptive design). - NATO project website has been developed. - Obsolete network equipment has been replaced.
