The equipment for electrochemical processing and spark-plasma sintering, specially developed ESD equipment with wide possibilities of regulation and control of the deposition process and high-frequency microsecond current pulses, and standard ESD devices was used. Basing on extended knowledge about spark processes physics and thermodynamics, a new electrode material from sintered clad granules of WC-W2C + Co composition was developed and technological modes of electrospark deposition were optimized to increase wear resistance and restore worn machine parts.
