With the help of a complex method using chromatography, investigation of the propensity of specified coal bed to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that coal of coal bed d4 is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion. Based on the results of the performed work, recommendations were made and transferred to the mine.
