Vol. 5: Belz ». Belz Archaeological Site Catalog Object of research: archeological monuments in Belz (archeological monument of national importance, protected № 130025-Н) and its surroundings. Purpose: to establish and compile a catalog of archeological monuments in the territory of Belz and its district for a single archaeological map. Research methods: processing of available archival and bibliographic materials; compiling a database of archaeological sites. In the course of research monographic works of well-known researchers of ancient history of Belz (J. Pasternak, L. Chachkovsky, V. Petegyrych), scientific articles devoted to the archeological heritage of Belz and its districts (V. Petegyrych, O. Lazurkо, V. Petryk, V. Lyaska, etc.), catalogs and collections of archeological monuments of the region, reports on scientific archeological researches. According to the results of the bibliographic search, a catalog of archeological monuments of the city of Belz was compiled - 26 monuments, as well as the surrounding area, which in ancient times formed the district of the princely city - 96 monuments. Based on the analysis of the obtained data, the population density and structure of Belz and its districts in medieval times are reflected.
