The subject of the study was both new, newly discovered sources and those that became known in previous years, but were not analyzed in the Eurasian context. The object of research is the archeological monuments of the Black Sea basin in general and the Crimean peninsula in particular. Materials of monuments of neighboring and remote territories (forest-steppe zone of Ukraine, Slovakia, Georgia, Altai) were also analyzed, on which similar objects of material culture were found. The aim of the work is to study the archaeological sources of the Crimea and the Northern Black Sea to assess their role in global socio-economic and ethnocultural processes that unfolded in Eurasia in ancient times and in the Middle Ages; search for archaeological criteria for assessing historical events, revealing the mechanisms of cultural transformation and processes of ethnogenesis. The methodological basis is due to the tasks facing the performers of the theme. The main task was to inscribe new and already known archaeological sources from the Crimea and the Northern Black Sea region in the Eurasian context, to determine their place in global socio-economic and ethno-political processes. Therefore, the following procedure was used in the assessment of archaeological sources: 1. A full description of the archaeological source, determining its place in the circle of archaeological sources originating from the Crimea and adjacent territories.
