The aim of the work is to establish physiological and biochemical mechanisms that ensure the expression of economically valuable traits in different growing conditions, and the peculiarities of their inheritance in agricultural and ornamental plants. Research methods – hybridological analysis, light microscopy, spectrophotometry, field and laboratory experiment, statistical analysis. It was established for the first time that inulin is found in the maximum amount in wild sunflower species H. tuberosus (about 9%) and H. nuttallii (about 8%), and the minimum amount is found in H. mollis, H. maximiliani and H. salicifolius (3-4 %); in the oil flax of the variety Cyan, the amount of chlorophyll a in ontogenesis increases from the herringbone stage to the flowering stage, high levels of chlorophyll b are observed at the budding stage, and the content of carotenoids has the same distribution pattern in ontogenesis as the content of chlorophyll a; the traits “the number of ray flowers” and “the bracts number” of sunflower are inherited polygenically and are controlled, respectively, by three and two pairs of non-allelic genes, interacting according to the type of cumulative polymerism; the absence of ray flowers is controlled by three non-allelic genes, one of which, in a recessive state, suppresses the action of two other genes in a recessive state; Among the interspecific flax hybrids obtained from the crossing of cultivated flax with homostyle wild species with n = 15, lines B-11 had high indices of the number of bolls per plant - 43.6 pcs. and A-1 - 46.8 pcs., and in terms of oil content, samples A-5 and A-11 with 46.4% and 47.6% oil content stand out as a promising material, respectively. The results obtained can be introduced into research institutions when creating modern varieties and hybrids of agr  Product Description popup.authors Boika Olena A Voytovich Olena M Polyakova Irina O Prystupa I Iryna V Yakovlieva-Nosar Svitlana O Yarantseva Viktoria V popup.nrat_date 2021-02-26 Close
