Research methods. General science: experiment - the study of the object and the processes occurring in it; observation - identification of the best options for the action and interaction of elements of technology that increase yields and improve quality. Special agronomic methods: morphological analysis - to study the characteristics of plants that determine productivity and quality; laboratory - to analyze the interaction between the plant and environmental conditions, assess the quality of the crop; statistical - for the analysis of the received results of researches; comparative calculation - evaluation of economic efficiency. To achieve this goal, the following research tasks are set: 1) theoretical substantiation of the topic based on the study of professional literature and patent search; 2) drawing up a scheme, providing a place for research, conducting experiments; 3) to study the features of growth, development and formation of grain productivity of potato crops; 4) use of analytical work, analysis and biometric processing of digital material; 5) description of the obtained results, their economic evaluation, formation of conclusions and proposals.
