As a result of the analysis of theoretical and practical researches on a problem of formation and utilization of waste of a motor transport complex we can note necessity of the further systematization and specification of ways of treatment of the fulfilled automobile oil filters. Existing and developed systems for the management of this type of industrial waste have common ways of disposing of individual components, and do not allow to claim their complete neutralization as the only comprehensive system aimed at preserving ecosystems exposed to man-made loads. A special place in this issue is occupied by used automotive oil filters (WAMF) as industrial waste of the 3rd class of danger - wastes that, according to the requirements of normative legislative documents of Ukraine, require mandatory disposal. Subject of research: cleaning of filter paper of used automobile oil filters, removal of resource-valuable components for the purpose of further incineration. Object of research: the process of utilization of filter paper of used oil car filters. Scientific approaches for the development of recycling technology for used automotive oil filters have been improved, which allows minimizing their impact on the environment and removing resource-intensive components; theoretically substantiated and experimentally established negative impact, determined the amount of damage from the placement of used automotive oil filters on the ground; the technology of combustion of the fulfilled automobile oil filters is developed and the scheme of clearing of emissions is picked up and its analysis is carried out; the necessity of treatment of the contaminated filter paper with detergent, with the subsequent burning at utilization is experimentally substantiated.
