Pisarzhevskii Institute Of Physical Chemistry of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  Nanocomposites based on Со,N,P-doped carbon and CoP (mainly) and Co2P particles (CoPx/Co,N,P-C) were obtained by carbonization of phosphoric acid-doped polyaniline (PAni) with Co (II) salt. The CoPx/Co,N,P-C nanocomposites are able to show high electrocatalytic activity in oxygen reduction reactions (ORR) in acidic and alkaline electrolytes. The possibility of using a deep eutectic solvent based on 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride and cobalt(II) nitrate hexahydrate (as a source of nitrogen and cobalt) to create highly efficient carbonized Co-N-C electrocatalysts for ORR was shown. The obtained Co-N-C electrocatalysts are characterized by E1/2 ~ 0.88 -0.89 V (vs. RHE) in alkaline electrolyte, which is almost not inferior to that for Pt/C catalyst.
