Purpose of the research: substantiation of scientific and practical fundamentals of formation of the marketing strategy of agrarian enterprise development in branch markets. Object of the research: the process of development of agricultural enterprises in the agricultural market and the food industry market of Zaporizhzhia region. Subject of the research: methodological and practical fundamentals of formation of the marketing strategy of development of food industry enterprises of Zaporizhzhia region. Research methods: monographic, computational, scientific comparison, methods of strategic analysis, graphic methods, statistical and economic method procedures (grouping, comparison, analysis, synthesis), economic and mathematical methods (linear programming with application of computers, economic and mathematical modeling), sociological survey, observation, interviews, forecasting methods, method of expert assessments, and strategic analysis. Results and their novelty: the methodological approaches to the analysis of the marketing environment through the use of expert assessments have been improved. The methodological approaches to the analysis of the internal environment through the use of matrix a strategic method have been improved, which provides an opportunity to determine the directions of enterprise development in sectoral agricultural markets and food industry markets. The scientific and methodological approaches to determining the model of consumer behaviour using the method of questionnaires have been substantiated, which provides an opportunity to study the consumer demand for agricultural products and food products. Theoretical significance: improvement of methodological approaches to the development of the marketing strategy for enterprise development taking into account the industry specifics of enterprises.
