 Objects of research - organizational and legal bases of forensic veterinary examination in Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to develop a textbook "Organizational and legal principles of forensic veterinary examination in Ukraine." Research methods - general science: formal-legal, dialectical, comparative-legal, systems analysis, logical-grammatical, statistical, modeling, as well as the method of generalization of expert practice. Theoretical and practical results. During the research work on this topic for the first time the definition of the term "Forensic Veterinary Medicine" and "Forensic Veterinary Examination" was formulated in the author's edition. The textbook sets out modern general theoretical problems of forensic veterinary examination; the subject, objects, subject, tasks, signs, principles of forensic veterinary examination are defined, the methods of research of its objects are revealed.
