The temperature ranges of the existence of different types of clusters in magnesium-based melts have been established, and their formation and destruction enthalpies have been studied. The DSC method was used to study the effect of the overheating temperature of aluminum melts of different grades on the supercooling temperature during crystallization, the effect of the oxide film on this process was shown, and the mechanism of this effect was established.
