Subject of work: Knowledge management technology as an innovation of quality improvement has been educated by a classic university. Main scientific results: During the implementation of research work, investigated and analyzed: 1) a variety of governance sources, in particular education management, pedagogy, psychology in order to substantiate the leading provisions on the implementation of knowledge management technology in a classical university. 2) defined and evaluated: sources (external and internal) knowledge; Ways to disseminate knowledge and assimilation (formal and informal) in a classic university. 3) the experience of various organizations, including educational, in particular knowledge of knowledge management technologies in order to improve the quality of education, is investigated. 4) developed and experimentally implemented knowledge management technology in the classical university (on the example of leggogical education, social work and art). 5) The system of knowledge management and development of intellectual products in order to generalize the experience has been analyzed. Practical value of the results: The result of the project was new knowledge related to knowledge management in the classical university. Problematic issues of organizational and pedagogical nature were found to ensure the quality of knowledge in accordance with modern socio-economic requirements.
