The development of theory of nucleus interactions at high energies. popup.stage_title Head Bakai Oleksandr S., Registration Date 29-03-2021 Organization National Science Center "Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology" popup.description2 The first section of the report describes in detail the results of research for the year 2020. The mechanisms of diffusion in an equiatomic alloy AlCoCuFeNi were studied by the method of molecular dynamics. Due to the compositional disorder, the local volumes and energies of atoms are found to be widely distributed. The procedure was proposed for calculation of local formation energies of point defects in a multicomponent solid solution. The temperature-dependent effective defect formation energies are found to be functionals of distributions of the corresponding local energies. It is established that interstitial diffusion is the main mechanism of self-diffusion at high temperatures. The study of ultrasound absorption in bulk metal glass Zr52.5Ti5Cu17.9Ni14.6Al10 was performed for frequencies of 20, 50 and 150 MHz in the temperature range of 80-300 K. Based on the experimental data, the spectrum of activation energies of the defects responsible for attenuation is estimated. The results are discussed in the framework of the Debye relaxation model. The second section presents the most important results obtained during the project activity period (2016-2020). Based on the research results, 2 monographs and 79 peer reviewed papers were published. 56 talks were presented at international conferences.
