Results and their novelty: The distinction of the proposed method from the ones available in Ukraine is based on the complete customization of implants with the expected technically successful implantation simulated at the planning stage using prototypes of pelvic bones and custom-made components of endoprosthesis using 3D printing. The scientific novelty of the proposed method is the personalized selection of components of hip endoprosthesis, in contrast to the standard components used in arthroplasty in patients with the altered anatomy during the complex primary or revision hip replacement. - We have introduced the local protocol for examination and treatment of patients with coxarthrosis that require the complex primary or revision hip replacement. — field of application: medicine; — relevance of research: we have developed a protocol of examination of patients with hip osteoarthrosis, accomplished the effective preoperative planning and ensured reduction of time and invasiveness of surgical procedure. Conclusions: we have developed the preoperative simulation of hip arthroplasty based on the comprehensive use of automated program, 3D modeling and additive technologies. This method is based on the complete customization of implants with the expected technically successful implantation simulated at the planning stage using prototypes of pelvic bones and components of endoprosthesis.
