The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of production of quality sheep products by developing harmonized zootechnical requirements to EU standards. During the research the information search was carried out to study the prospects of the sheep industry in Ukraine, review of information materials on the regulatory requirements of the European Union for the maintenance and care of sheep, veterinary and sanitary requirements during the design and construction of sheep farms, veterinary and animal protection, disinfection, deratization, disinsection, general principles of prevention of diseases in sheep, safety requirements, environmental requirements, generalized data on the regulatory requirements of the European Union for the maintenance and care of sheep, systematization of factors affecting the quality of sheep products, developed zootechnical to EU standards for the production of quality sheep products. The list of issues considered during the research: - information materials on the regulatory requirements of the European Union for the maintenance and care of sheep; - some aspects of the functioning of sheep enterprises; - generalized data on the regulatory requirements of the European Union for the maintenance and care of sheep; - systematization of factors that affect the quality of sheep products; - zootechnical requirements are harmonized with EU standards for the production of quality sheep products.
