Purpose - Development of a decision support system for more complete and objective regulation of soil quality characteristics in the operational mode on the basis of agro-technological processes. Research methods - mathematical modeling of the process of loosening the surface layer of the soil and the process of its cultivation using the methods selected by the results of theoretical research, processing and analysis of the results, synthesis of theoretical research on the quality of tillage. A review of literature sources and found that soil fertility in plant life can change under the influence of various factors, including tillage aimed at establishing optimal conditions by the impact of working bodies on the basic elements and agrophysical conditions of soil characteristics whose ranges depend on the type of crop. Based on the results of the research, a technological scheme of soil porosity regulation depending on the set tasks and a technological scheme of soil tillage unit with adjustable porosity parameters in the process of cultivation are proposed, which can provide both constant porosity value and variable. Based on the results of research, a model of decision support system is proposed that can help determine the feasibility and efficiency of tillage, recommend optimal tillage parameters, perform seedling forecasting and ensure its implementation using the developed system of regulation of physical and mechanical characteristics of soil, and more.
