Carbonate from corn stigmas showed the best characteristics. The materials were activated in KOH. To reduce the intrinsic electrical resistance of nanoporous carbon materials, the thermochemical reduction of metals from salts in their structure was studied. A method for increasing the electrical conductivity (6-8 times) was developed by using thermochemical reduction of nickel from Ni(NO3)2 6H2O solution which impregnated the activated carbonate.
