The aim of the project is to study new energy efficient methods of processing substances, including water, using high-voltage equipment. Electrophysical research methods and high-voltage models of installations and generators of electromagnetic pulses, working chambers, reactors, methods of mathematical physics are applied. New results have been obtained on the modes of water treatment by electric discharges of micro- and nanosecond duration in gas bubbles, which (modes) provide complete disinfection of water. The results of experimental and theoretical researches on creation of energy-efficient technology of water purification on the basis of a complex of high-voltage pulse effects with use of electric pulse discharges of micro- and nanosecond duration, researches of methods of magnetic-pulse processing of metals are presented. The basic electric schemes are considered, measurements of parameters of pulses of pressure and currents in working chambers, reactors by means of the developed and made dividers of tension and current shunts of an original design are carried out.
