The object of research work of the department is a variety of construction, including earthmoving machines. The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of the mechanical equipment of the road construction complex by improving the structures and energy saving. Both theoretical and experimental research methods were used in the work: field samples testing, theoretical description of working processes, modeling of operating loads, mathematical modeling of motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, loaders. The mathematical model of movement of the motor grader in the course of performance of technological operations is developed. The estimation of exchange rate stability parameters is performed. The mechanism of positive influence of hydrodynamic dispersant on antiwear properties of lubricants is investigated. The possibility of using running wheels with rubber inserts on bridge cranes has been investigated. Computer simulation of the impact of external loads on the running gear of the tower crane model was performed. The efficiency of ZTM equipment equipped with GPS-control systems of the working body position is investigated. Methods for determining errors in diagnosing hydraulic drives have been developed. Determination of the working feed speed and cutting speed by chain-scraper diggers performing critical-deep cutting of the soil is performed. The study of stresses in the metal structure of the traction frame of the semi-trailer scraper is performed. The energy consumption of the movement and the thermal mode of operation of the hydraulic system of the frontal small-sized loader with a 4x4 wheel formula are determined.
