Registration Date 17-08-2021 Organization Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University popup.description2  The object of the study is the adsorption by slag of Pobuzhsky Ferronickel Plant (PFNK), Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NZF) of organic pollutants of drinking and industrial wastewater to ensure environmental safety. The purpose of the work is ecological substantiation of minimization of accumulation of industrial waste and sewage by ecologically safe use of metallurgical slags as technogenic raw materials in technologies of sorption treatment of drinking and industrial sewage. Research methods - X-ray phase analysis, electron-probe microanalysis, spectrophotometric analysis, calculation and analytical analysis. For the mathematical description of the adsorption process, the MATLAB application package and its subsystem Toolbox (mathematical package) were used - a set of specialized mathematical functions. Results and their novelty: The elemental and mineralogical composition of slags has been experimentally determined. It is proved that the main slag mineral of ferroalloy production is diopside, which is present in crystalline and amorphous states. The sorption properties of metallurgical slag for the production of ferroalloys are considered. It is shown that slag has sorption properties in relation to aromatic and surfactant compounds, which are based on the dispersion interaction of molecules. The kinetic features of sorption of organic dyes by slag sorbent have been studied. A method for determining the sorption properties of metallurgical slags and calculation of adsorption rates by slag sorbent based on diopside has been developed. A mathematical model of slag sorbent adsorption is created. Product Description popup.authors Egorova Lilia M Datsenko Vita V Nenastina Tetiana Oleksandrivna popup.nrat_date 2021-08-17 Close
