The absence of a single systematized expert methodology of the resarch of human hair summarizing the experience of consistent solution of typical expert tasks with using methods applyed in practice, determines the expedience of development of the science research work. This work for the first time developed a unified approach for experts of the institutions of the Expert Service of the MIA to the usage of general, general scientific and special methods (morphological macro- and microscopic research of hair, comparative research of hair), techniques and technical means designed for carrying out the research of objects of forensic biological examination in expert specialty 9.6 "Hair Research". The results of scientific research work can be implemented in expert practice during the carrying out the forensic biological examination in expert specialty 9.6 "Hair Research".
