The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for ensuring gas safety of the excavation section 3 of the southern lava of block 7 of layer d4 of PJSC «Mine Management «Pokrovske» when using a reverse ventilation scheme, type 1-M. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining-technical characteristics of the excavation section 3 of the southern lava of block 7 of formation d4 of PJSC «Mine Management «Pokrovske» were analyzed. "Recommendations for ensuring gas safety of the excavation section 3 of the southern lava of block 7 of layer d4 of PJSC «Mine Management «Pokrovske» when using the reverse ventilation scheme, type 1-M" were developed. The application of the reverse-precision, type 1-M, ventilation scheme of the excavation section 3 of the southern lava of block 7, the calculation of the air flow required for its ventilation and the maximum allowable load on the treatment face by gas factor are agreed upon, provided the developed gas safety recommendations. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, the safety of mining operations is ensured, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
