The purpose of the work is to develop conclusions on the forecast of sudden methane breakthroughs from the sole of mine workings in accordance with the "Instructions for forecasting and prevention of sudden methane breakthroughs from the sole of mine workings" in the conditions of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining characteristics of the excavation sections of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» were analyzed. The forecast of sudden methane breakthroughs from the sole into the treatment workings was made – 1 northern lava of the central panel of block №11 and the whole lava of block № 2-3. The Conclusion on the danger of sudden methane breakthroughs from the soles of mine workings of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» was developed.
