Research methods – parasitological (coproscopical, determination of extens- and intensefficiency of drugs); epizootological (determination of the extensity and intensity of the invasion, age and seasonal dynamics); hematological; pathological and anatomical; methods of testing and evaluating the disinvasive effectiveness of chemicals; morphometric; microscopic; statistical. The paper obtains new data on the prevalence of gastrointestinal nematodes of geese and chickens in farms of Poltava region. The influence of capillariasis pathogens and nematodosic associations on morphological and biochemical parameters of blood of infested birds was studied. Improved methods for the diagnosis of helminthiasis of geese and chickens are proposed: «Method for postmortem diagnosis of amidostomosis of geese» (patent of Ukraine for utility model № 75591, u 201205379); «Method of intravital coprooscopic diagnosis of chicken capillariasis» (patent of Ukraine for utility model № 111568, u 201605990) .; «Method of postmortem diagnosis of goose capillariasis» (patent of Ukraine for utility model № 125750, u 201712265). A comparative characterization of the effectiveness of modern anthelmintics for: amidostomosic-ganguleterakosic association of geese; capillariasis of chickens and geese. The disinvasive properties of modern disinfectants in relation to exogenous stages of helminthic pathogens that parasitize poultry have been determined. The most effective drugs and disinfectants for effective management of the poultry industry and ensuring veterinary welfare against poultry helminthiasis are proposed.
