The influence of chemical properties and concentration of active and acid dyes on the nature and kinetics of photodestruction of dyes obtained on cotton and woolen knitted fabrics has been studied. The influence of the chemical structure of the fiber - forming polymer, the structure and geometry of the surface of knitted fabrics on the regularities of photodestruction of knitted fabrics from natural fibers is established. Technologies for increasing the light fastness of cotton and woolen knitwear have been developed, their approbation in production conditions has been carried out and economic efficiency has been assessed.
