Research target is to develop technical offers for pushing emission control system reconstruction in order to increase their efficiency and achieve of technological regulations in terms of dust emissions: a scientific analysis was carried out and information was summarized as per existing pushing emission control systems operation at coke oven and by-product plants; conclusions are drawn about the efficiency of coke dust catching processes in different dust catching devices (cyclones, wet dust catchers., bag filters, etc.), the justification how to use the dry methods of coke dust catching at dust catching units of PEC system is given; a new concept of pushing emission control system was presented and recommendations for the modernization of existing PEC systems were developed. Research method: collection, analysis and systematization of data; making of calculations to determine the pollutant emission rates during pushing emission control at Enterprises of Coke Oven and By-product Plants. Research work is recommended for use by research and design organizations in the development of working and design documentation technological sections, an environmental chapter, as well as by coke oven and by product plants environmental services.
