The first in Ukraine experimental plant for liquefaction of natural gas (LNG) according to the scheme of high-pressure throttle cycle with pre-cooling was created. The installation effectively combines cooling of natural gas by throttling and refrigeration unit, with the use of heat exchange recovery of its own design and manufacture. The unit is designed for low-capacity production of liquefied methane (near 5 kg/h) with high energy efficiency for this class (0.6 kW·h/kg).
