Pisarzhevskii Institute Of Physical Chemistry of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  Effective and reproducible methods have been developed, for obtaining a number of ligand systems, including macrocyclic derivatives of crown esters, cyclic and quasi-macrocyclic Schiff bases, as well as carboxylic acids with redox fragments: diphenylamine, carbazole and tetrathiafulluvalene, ferrocene an 2,6-di(tert-butyl)phenol for further production of lanthanide complexes. The developed techniques are simpler than the known ones and allow to obtain target ligand systems with high yields and easy to scale synthetic protocols to obtain sufficient amounts of target substances. Target products are developed in multigram quantities required for further synthesis of lanthanide complexes. The composition and structure of the synthesized ligands are characterized by methods of microanalysis, IR and NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
