Registration Date 21-12-2021 Organization Ternopil Research Station Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Object of research: udder secretion of cows, microorganisms, antibiotics. The aim of the study was to study the specific bacteriophages of the causative agents of mastitis in cows and to justify the use of phage therapy in the treatment of mastitis in cows as an alternative to antibiotics in the system of environmentally friendly milk. Research methods - physical, chemical, microbiological, statistical. It was found that the causative agents of subclinical mastitis of cows on dairy farms in the Western region of Ukraine in 45.6% are microorganisms of the genus Staphylococcus, in 31.3% - the genus Streptococcus, and in 23.1% of cases mastitis had a mixed etiology (staphylococci, streptococci and others microflora). It was found that the number of resistant S. aureus bacteria to antibiotics used in veterinary medicine and antimastitis drugs (benzylpenicillin, amoxicillin, erythromycin, streptomycin, gentamicin, tetracycline) during the last 10-12 years, increases from 0-24 to 64.3 88.1%, and S. agalactiae - from 0–41.2 to 58.8–76.5%. Almost 100% of S. aureus strains isolated from the mammary glands of mastitis patients form dense and medium biofilms within 7-10 hours. At the same time, Str. agalactiae and Str. dysgalactiae form a biofilm of low and medium density in 86.1–94.6% of cases and only 5.4 to 13.9% form dense biofilms. Of the studied antibiotics, enrofloxacin has been shown to work best, completely inhibiting staphylococcal and streptococcal cells in the biofilm. Also, ceftriaxone and doxycycline are effective against bacteria in biofilms, after which the number of bacteria decreases thousands of times to 79.4 CFU / cm2 of biofilm area and to 320 CFU / cm2, respectively. Under the action of penicillins, aminoglycosides and macrolides, the number of microbial cells in the biofilm decreases tenfold to 199526 CFU / cm2. здоров’я Product Description popup.authors Boltyk Nataliia P.
