Obtained nanopaerticles were studied by XRD, XPS, TEM and DLS methods. It was established the effect of the conditions of synthesis on the morphology and physical-chemical properties of nanoparticles. It was shown that CeO2 nanoparticles formed the hihgly stable aqueous suspensions without using any additional stabilizers. Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 nanoparticles with the spinel structure were synthesized by the cryochemical method with further heat treatment in the temperature range of 200 - 800°C. Crystallochemical, magnetic properties of nanopaerticles and their morphology were investigated. Magnetic fluids based on Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 showed the ability to heat up effectively and self-controlled up to the certain temperatures under the effect of an alternating magnetic field.
