The purpose of the research is to study the values of the properties of the created standard sample of cesium-137 (Cs-137) according to DSTU-N ISO Guide 35: 2018 and DSTU ISO 17034: 2020, and accompanied by a certificate in accordance with DSTU-N ISO Guide 31: 2008 (or ISO Guide 31: 2015) for use in the regulatory field. The subject of the study was the study of homogeneity and stability of the material from which the standard sample of cesium-137 (Cs-137), as well as establishing the values of the activity of the standard sample for use in the verification of legally regulated MI. Standard samples (reference materials - RM) are used in the production and non-production spheres of society to transfer the size of units of quantities to the reference means of measuring equipment to ensure the unity and traceability of measurements.
