The role of diffusion constraints in the stages of deep oxidation of motor fuel droplets in two-phase reaction volumes is highlighted. Possible mechanisms of formation of three-dimensional carbon nanoscale objects are presented; the evolution of the formation of fulleroid nanostructures was traced, which includes the following stages: carbon atoms-molecular chains-rings-bulk nanoscale clusters with closed shells in the form of graphene-like petals. On the examples of liquid-phase auto-oxidation of individual alkanes it was found that at temperatures close to the boiling point of oxidate, there is an inverse effect of nanoparticle additives-inhibition of oxidation changes to acceleration of the process. The temperature inversion of the synthesized nanoparticles during fuel oxidation is explained by the facilitation of diffusion of hydrocarbon molecules, which are not included in supramolecular domain associations around nanoparticles, in the near-surface layers of liquid with subsequent evaporation. As a result, at the liquid-air boundary, the concentration of hydrocarbon molecules increases and the reaction shifts from the liquid volume to the gas-phase boundary. The proposed model of the mechanism of influence of nanoparticles on the completeness of oxidation of liquid organic substances in high temperature conditions is confirmed by the experimentally revealed effect of increasing the pressure of saturated gasoline vapors in the presence of microdoses of synthesized carbon nanoclusters.
