Research method. Dialectical methods of scientific cognition are used to form a list of roads of state importance in the Eastern regions of Ukraine, primarily analysis and synthesis. Also, the empirical methods of cognition, such as description, measurement and comparison are used. Relevance of development. The key role in the implementation of the state strategy to stimulate the economic development of the Eastern regions of Ukraine performs the development of transport infrastructure, the most important component of which is the network of roads of state importance. Several roads that were damaged as a result of the anti-terrorist operation remain unrepaired and need funding. Therefore, the development of a program for renewal and development of public roads of state importance in the Eastern regions of Ukraine is very important.
