The purpose of the work is to adapt the most optimal method of obtaining lytic phages. Research methods - bacteriological, serological and statistical. The analysis of available methodical methods of obtaining bacteriophages is carried out, lytic phage to epizootic culture of Escherichia coli is isolated. The obtained lysate was tested for sensitivity and specificity by the presence and size of the lysis zone. To the homogeneous culture of Escherichia coli he gave high specificity and sensitivity in "+++" (large area of no growth of culture at the site of lysate), to the other 3 heterogeneous cultures of Escherichia coli lysate showed sensitivity to "++" (moderate delay zone growth) and "+++" (large area of no culture growth at the site of lysate application). Thus, the method of obtaining lytic phages to epizootic-actual pathogens of bacterial diseases of animals (Appendix A) was obtained and the lysate of bacteriophages to Escherichia coli was obtained.
