The purpose of the study: is to provide a scientific justification for the program of accompanying therapy for the treatment of thyroid tumors to prevent the long-term negative effects of special treatment. Research methods: Methods of nonparametric statistics, technology of Data Mining. Theoretical and practical results: it was shown that the duration of suppressive hormone therapy should not exceed 7 months: its prolongation does not reduce the incidence of oncological complications, but leads to an increase in cardiovascular and complications of the female reproductive system. It was developed and patented technology for predicting the recurrence of thyroid cancer based on the use as markers of certain levels of thyroglobulin, thyroid-stimulating hormone and thyroxin and technology for their prevention based on corticosteroid therapy before each course of radioiodine therapy. Novelty: for the first time a list of risk factors for the development of long-term oncological and somatoneurological consequences of thyroid cancer treatment was formed. Markers for predicting long-term negative consequences of special treatment have been identified. Technologies for predicting recurrence of thyroid cancer and prevention of recurrence of differentiated thyroid cancer have been developed. Effectiveness of implementation: optimization of methods of medical examination and monitoring for patients with thyroid cancer.
