The purpose of the work is to determine the main factors and assess their impact on the formation of radiation doses to the population of RCT on the basis of comprehensive radiation and hygienic monitoring in the reference settlements of these areas in 2019-2021. Research methods - dosimetric (instrumental and computational), radiochemical. Comprehensive radiation and hygienic monitoring conducted in 2019–2021 in 22 RCT settlements of Kyiv, Rivne, and Zhytomyr oblasts showed that annual effective radiation doses to the population in the surveyed settlements at the current stage of the accident are formed due to internal radiation doses not exceeding 0. 51 mSv · year-1 in Kyiv, 1.2 mSv · year-1 in Rivne, 1.8 mSv · year-1 in Zhytomyr oblasts, with the criterion of RCT 1 mSv · year-1. A further decrease in the average annual doses of internal radiation in the surveyed settlements was registered: 1.3 and 1.4 times in Ivankiv and Polissya districts of Kyiv region (0.024 mSv · year-1 and 0.042 mSv · year-1 in 2016, 0.019 mSv · Year-1 and 0.029 mSv · year-1 in 2019 in Ivankiv and Polissya districts, respectively), 1.1 times in Rivne region (0.179 mSv · year-1 in 2017 and 0.156 mSv · year 1 in 2020 ), 1.1 times in the Zhytomyr region (0.073 mSv · year-1 in 2018 and 0.067 mSv · year 1 in 2021). Implementation: 21 publications, 3 information letters, 11 implementation acts, conference reports, utility model patent.
