The concepts of regionalism, regionalization and regional economic integration are systematized. The principles of "EU-plus" and "EU-extra" are outlined. Forms of development of integration processes V4 + Ukraine are characterized. Models of economic diplomacy of the Visegrad Four countries are analyzed. The directions of the EU policy to the East in the context of cooperation between the Visegrad Four and Ukraine have been identified. Sectoral directions of development of bilateral economic cooperation of Ukraine with V4 countries are determined. The strategy of orientation of integration processes in the sector of real economy V4 + UA is formed taking into account the prospects of creation of joint innovation clusters, techno- and industrial parks in the region. A mechanism has been developed to accelerate the economic integration of Ukraine and the Visegrad Four countries and to create the V4 + 1 grouping in the context of the Eastern Partnership policy.
