The research have found that the contractile response of the myometrium varies depending on the degree of its mechanical stretching, and the action of oxytocin and TRPC4 ion channel agonists differs from that without mechanical stress. In this research new evidences about mechano-sensitive properties of TRPC4 were obtained. A perspective to use liposomes with incorporated agonists of maxi-K channels as the inhibitors of uterine contractions was shown in experiments with quercetin and nitric oxide. Water-soluble pristine C60 fullerene appeared to affect the spontaneous and oxytocin-stimulated rat uterus in the late gestation. The study developed an algorithm for quantitative analysis of uterine contractions (6 different parameters). Product Description popup.authors Babich Lidiia G.
