Registration Date 18-01-2022 Organization Physico-Mechanical Institute named after GV Karpenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The structural features of titanium alloy VT6, manufactured by different technologies, have been studied. It is shown that depending on the manufacturing technology the structure of the alloy is different: globular - for traditional, lamellar - with a small number of pores - for powder metallurgy, martensitic - for additive (3D-printing). The influence of heat treatment on the change of structural and phase state of VT6 alloy made by different technologies is established. It is shown that for traditional and additive technologies the structure is enlarged and the amount of β-phase increases, and for powder metallurgy it decreases. It is shown that for titanium alloy VT6, made by different technologies, heat treatment №3 (heating to 750 ° C, holding 5 h, cooling to 350 ° C, atmospheric air) leads to the formation of an oxide layer, which usually has a negative effect on plasticity. It was found that heat treatment №2 (heating up to 850 ° C, holding time 1 h, cooling up to 750 ° C, holding time 0.5 h) is optimal for titanium alloy VT6, made by additive technology, due to redistribution of alloying elements, β release -phase and reduction of residual stresses, and, therefore, will provide regulated mechanical characteristics.  Product Description popup.authors Kravchyshyn Taras M.
