Registration Date 20-01-2022 Organization Kundiev Institute of Occupational Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The object of research - nanomaterials, nanosized fractions of the solid component of welding aerosols (SCWE). The aim of the work is to determine the toxic effects of nanomaterials on oxidative stress indicators as the main mechanism of damaging action of nanoparticles in in vitro models, and to develop scientific approaches to rapid assessment of potential hazards of nanoscale SCWE. Research methods - hygienical, toxicological, cytological, statistical. A scientific approach to rapid hazard assessment of nanosized fractions of welding aerosols has been developed, which involves sampling air into glucose citrate buffer, studying the content of membrane phospholipids and morphological analysis of bovine germ cells (bull). A method has been developed for stabilizing nanopowders of metals and their derivatives, as well as nanofractions of SCWE with glucose citrate buffer for further use in in vivo and in vitro biomedical studies, including toxicological and hygienical studies. A method for rapid evaluation of the content of membrane phosphospholipids under the influence of metal nanopowders and nanofractions of SCWE with the use of cattle sperm as a test object has been developed. The proposed approach significantly reduces the complexity and cost of testing, as it does not require the use of expensive equipment and reagents, and can be used as a screening for toxicological and hygienical studies at the stage of improvement of welding materials and / or welding technology under development.   Product Description popup.authors Belyuga Olexandr Grygorovych Didenko Mariia M Demetskaya Olexandra Vitalievna Movchan Valentyna Oleksandrivna Patyka Tetyana Ivanivna Capko Valentin H popup.nrat_date 2022-03-09 Close
