The purpose of the work was to reveal the age regularities of physiological maintenance of activities under non-standard work regimes and to substantiate the basic principles of improving the prophylaxis of their adverse effects on the body of workers. Research methods - informational, hygienic, psychological, physiological, chronobiological, mathematic-statistical. After 130-170 hours of work per month (equivalent to 30-40 hours of work per week), in surgeons there were found signs of over-fatigue, which turns into exhaustion of adaptive resources after 280-320 hours of work (equivalent to 65-75 hours of work per week). Over-fatigue is accompanied by accelerating the performance of the function of attention along with increasing sympathetic regulation in the functioning of the bloodcirculatory system (increase in heart rate, cardiac output, stroke volume, Kerdo’s vegetative index, decrease in periphery vascular resistance, bloodcirculation insufficiency index), exhaustion - reverse processes. At the same time, with age the phase of fatigue comes later, the phase of exhaustion of adaptive resources - earlier. Probably, the first is the result of natural professional selection, the second - a reflection of the age-related decline in the adaptive capacity of the human body. With the increase in the total length of experience of truck drivers, their well-being and mood significantly worsens, their activities decreases, the feeling of physical fatigue increases. Working at night potentiates the decrease in general and physical work capacities, in vigor, increase in number of complaints, including difficulty concentrating, increased tachycardia, decreased AT diastolic, decreased angle of the heart axis (aF QRSо), decreased amplitude of the Q wave (Q aII), improving static balancing. Increased sympathetic activation, does not guarantee the safety of the heart functioning.
