The purpose of the study is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations, formation of scientific and methodological approaches and substantiation of practical recommendations for ensuring financial stability of the financial sector of Ukraine's economy on the basis of sustainable development and in the latest epidemiological challenges. The purpose of the study of the first stage is to develop a methodological apparatus to ensure the financial stability of the financial sector in the context of the economy of sustainable development, taking into account the latest epidemiological challenges. The main tasks of the first stage of research: to substantiate the methodological principles of ensuring financial stability of the financial sector of the economy according to the system-synergetic approach; to reveal the methodology of research of determinants of economics of sustainable development from the standpoint of causal logic; to develop methodological principles of transformation of the system of ensuring financial stability of the financial sector in order to promote sustainable development of society; to develop a methodological basis for assessing the level of implementation of sustainable development initiatives by financial sector institutions; to develop scientific provisions on the impact of financial inclusion on the financial stability of the financial sector; to deepen the substantiation of scientific and methodological tools for the implementation of the process of spreading financial inclusion in the context of ensuring sustainable development; justify the place of sustainable financing in ensuring the financial stability of the financial sector; to develop the methodology of formation of the institute of sustainable financing.
