Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  The aim of this stage is the development of theoretical and numerical models of argon-ethanol plasma, which will take into account the deposition of thin films onto the electrodes and their ion sputtering accompanied by formation of nanoparticles; the development of a method for separation of negative ions from associated electrons in a magnetic field; the development and preparation of examples of nanostructured materials from nanopowders and the measurement of luminescence induced by X-ray and UV radiation. The theoretical and numerical models of argon-ethanol plasma, which take into account the deposition of thin films onto the electrodes and their ion sputtering accompanied by formation of nanoparticles, were developed. To effectively separate the negative ions removed from the accompanying electrons from the Penning discharge, a number of studies were performed to determine the effect of the degree of hydrogen saturation of the hydride-forming material based on Zr and V alloy on the discharge characteristics and plasma parameters of the hydrogen ion source. It is determined that the increase in the initial saturation of the metal hydride cathode leads to an increase in the voltage drop across the discharge together with the axial density of the plasma and to an increase in the ion current density in the axial region. The method was developed and samples of nanostructured materials from nanopowders were made and luminescence induced by X-ray and UV radiation was measured.
