The subject of the study is development of convenient and effective methods of synthesis of new derivatives in the result of reactions of N-acyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines with N- and C-nucleophiles, synthesis of new nitrogen- and oxygen-containing heterocycles compounds that are potential biologically active compounds and good additives to process fluids. Research methods are organic synthesis, X-ray diffraction analysis, NMR 1H spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, quantum chemical calculations, elemental analysis. Preparative methods for the synthesis of new derivatives, based on N-acyl-1,4-benzoquinonymines with various substituents in the quinoid nucleus, as a result of their reactions with C- and N-nucleophiles have been developed. In particular, derivatives of benzofuran and pyrazole were obtained. Pyrazole derivatives have been synthesized by the interaction of 4-aminoantipyrine with 2,6-dialkyl derivatives of N-chloro-1,4-benzoquinone monoimine and with 2,5 (2,6)-dialkyl derivatives of 1,4-benzoquinone, which can show a wide range of biological activity. In particular, such compounds may have antimicrobial, antiviral, antitumor, antihistaminic effects, may be used as antidepressants, insecticides and fungicides. As a result of the interaction of N-aroyl-, N-benzylideneacetyl-, N-arylaminocarbonyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines with arylenamines based on acetylacetone and acetoacetic ester, the benzofuran derivatives were obtained. Derivatives of N-acyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines and products derived from their reactions with N- and C-nucleophiles have been found to have bactericidal activity against Mycobacterium luteum and Staphylococcus aureus.
