The purpose of the work is to conduct transboundary environmental monitoring of the Ukrainian part of the Danube Delta and develop within it a geoinformation system with the possibility ofupdateing and accumulating databases on indicators of the ecological state. At the IV (final) stage of this research work, an assessment of the current state of the surface water massifs of the Danube Delta section on the territory of Ukraine for the period of research 2000-2021 was completed, proposals to prevent the negative impact on the environment of the Danube Delta were made, including in a transboundary context System ( GIS) of environmental monitoring, a subsystem for displaying information and testing GIS was developedin particular, and thematic interactive maps of the Ukrainian part of the Danube River Delta created using GIS. As part of the IV stage of this research work, an assessment of the environmental impact of land-based storage of bottom sediments along the branches of the Danube Delta was carried out as well as the adjustment of the Monitoring Program based on the results of the assessment, as well as the determination of the chemical state of the massif of surface waters of the Danube River within Ukraine for priority substances in accordance with Water Framework Directive. The use of scientific and technical products is carried out by the Customer - the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
