The object of research is deep Earth degassing (DED), hydrogen-hydrocarbon DED (HHDED), plumes, cross-formation fluidconducting systems (CFS), degassing pipes (DP) in connection with petroleum genesis–petroleum accumulation (PGA). The aim of research is to determine the main features and modes of DED processes with special attention to HHDED, as well as to assess of the role of mentioned processes in the petroleum genesis– petroleum accumulation, in the formation of sedimentary basins with hydrocarbons pools characterized by different phase conditions and geochemical properties. Research methods. The research was carried out on the basis of tectono-stratigraphic, geothermodynamic, geoformational, lithological-facies, mineral-petrographic, hydrogeological approaches with wide application of modern geological-geophysical, isotope-geochemical, etc. analytical methods and based on the analysis of published sources. Research results. New laws and modes of DED processes with special attention to HHDED are outlined. CFS is considered, lithological and epigenetic criteria for diagnosis and mapping of DP are developed as well as their connection with plume tectonics and manifestations of various diapirism is shown. The analysis of deep fluid tracers as indicators of DED phases is performed. The role of DED processes in the formation of sedimentary basins is estimated, especially the method of estimating the contribution of endogenous substance to the sedimentation fund of the basins is developed. PGA is considered as one of the most important manifestations of DED processes. The role of black shale formations (BSF) as an indicator of DED phases is substantiated. The analysis of the influence of spatio-temporal variations of DED on petroleum geological zoning is performed, the connection of DED with phase-geochemical zonation of petroleum genesis is estimated.Key words: DEEP EARTH DEGASSING; PETROLEUM GENESIS Product Description popup.authors Husynina Tamara V.
